11. Kaahli agge tooye, Kahle kamm kade na hoye!

Meaning Punjabi: Jado koi banda kahli ch koi hor kam karan janda hai par uss kam dee chakkar ch kuch hor galat kar aanda hai taan kehnde ne “Kahli agge toye, kahle kamm kade na hoye”

Meaning English: When a person goes for a work in hurry but on the contrary spoils another work then this proverb is used.

 

12. Bhaute gharaan da paruhna bhukha hi rah janda!

Meaning Punjabi: Eh kahavat ohh vele kehnde ne Jado ek kam bahut bandiya nu karan vaste keh dita janda hai, te sare ehh soch de hee reh jande ne kee duja banda eh kam kar lao. Te Iss chakkar ch ohh kam reh hee janda hai.

Meaning English:  When a work is given to multiple people and all of the them think that other person will do that and ultimately no one do that work. 

 

13. Anna wande reoriyaan, Te mud mud aapneyaan nu.!

Meaning Punjabi:Jadon koi banda kisi bhi kam vich sirf apne jaam pehchan waliyan nu hee fayda pahuchanda hai taan kehnde ne ” Anna wande reoriyaaan, Te mud mud aapneyaan nu”

Meaning English: When someone gives benefits only to their known people leaving rest behind then this proverb is used.

 

14. Aate Naal Ghun vi Pisda hai or Lakad naal loha bhi tarda hai!

Meaning Punjabi: Jadon koi changa banda kisi maade bande dee company ch rehnda hai taan usnu bhi maada hee maniyan janda hai. Taahi taan kehnde ne ” Aate Naal Ghun vi Pisda hai”

Meaning English: When someone good stays with a bad person then good person will be held equally responsible for the wrong deeds of bad person.

Word Meaning: Lakad: wood; Loha: Iron; tarda: Flow; 

 

15. Bakri dudh dindi taan hai, par meengna paa k!

Meaning Punjabi: Jadon koi banda koi kam kar taan dinda hai par bada roo roo ke te lamka ke.

Meaning English: When someone works but not with right attitude and without happiness.

Word Meaning: Bakri: Goat; Meengna: Goat’s waste;

      Meaning – Rice in your Mouth (Generally Proverb is “Sweets in your mouth” used when people hears some good news from someone)

      Muah means mouth, Chawl means Rice.
